1. Do I need my Doctor's Referral?

You can refer yourself by simply making contact via telephone or email and requesting an initial session. Alternatively, your GP or other health professional may refer you.

2. How long does a session take?

Each session will be 50 minutes.

3. How often do I need to come?

Sessions are weekly, on the same day and at the same time.

4. How many sessions are needed?

Since each person is an individual with a unique experience, the number of sessions can vary from a few weeks to several months or longer. It is always the person's choice about whether they wish to continue and how long they wish to spend in therapy. The therapist and client jointly agree when goals have been reached and it is time to end the therapy.

5. How much does it cost?

The fee for the initial consultation of 50 minutes is £70. Fees for further sessions will be agreed on an individual basis.

6. What happens at the first session?

When you contact me we will arrange an initial 50 minute session at a mutually convenient time. At this session we will talk through your particular difficulties, your expectations and any relevant issues. I will give you my recommendation as to how many sessions you may need and we can decide on the best way forward.
